There is another good receiver for Dak. Does this mean Beasley is gone?

Wow! Huge pickup. Cobb will be a massive improvement in the slot.

Maybe, he played 9 games last year, and he didn't rate well at all at PFF

Beasley rated out much higher than Cobb on PFF FWIW

Beasley did rate out much higher, but Cobb has been dealing with some injuries. A new place, you never know. 1 year deal though?

They need another WR. Cobb is decent pickup IF, and that's a big if, he's healthy.

They still don't have a legit #3 WR. They need a legit TE, but anyone putting any hope in Jerry Jones making moves to help the Cowboys is insane. He has no grasp on what the team needs offensively and that defense overperformed last year.

Cooper is very good. Gallup is ok. Probably a #3 right now. Might could be a #2, but that's iffy. Then Cobb. He's definitely not a #2 and is a borderline #3 when healthy. Dak still is missing weapons and Jerry is playing cheap, especially with no 1st round draft pick this year.

Cobb is past his good years. I don’t see this being a great signing. But I also didn’t think Beasley was great. Likely an even trade off if Cobb is healthy.

I agree with this statement. I'm a Cowboys fan and a St Louis Cardinals fan. Both franchises are too cheap.

Cardinals are cheap? Boy, you'd really be pissed if you were a braves' fan

Written, Cooper, and Cobb have a lot of experience. That'll help a young QB throwing to people who know how to get open and how to use their bodies. Dak is going to have a HUGE year of those three stay healthy.

I think the year off is going to help Whitten. I keep forgetting he is coming back. His body right now has to be as healthy as it has been in 5 years.

I don't watch every cowboy game; but the few I did watch, I liked Schultz and jarwin. I think I'd be using them more than written.

If I'm not mistaken, Amari Cooper rated pretty poorly before he came to Cowboys, and rated high after that, so change of scenery can do wonders at times.

Well Whitten is there to be more than a player. He is there to show Jarwin and the other Tends how to play that position.

Yes it is a genius move. You are simply paying 1 million bucks for a tight end coach who can literally teach by example while also filling a need throughout the season.
