Ex Texas A&M QB Starkel just announced that he's transferring to Arkansas. They also got Ben Hicks from SMU to transfer. I wonder what Morris told both of them to get them to come there.

No idea, but I like picking up starkel. He's put up a 150 passer rating in 2017 (state, auburn, New Mexico, OM, LSU, and wake forest)

Starkel may give the offense a shot in the arm but Arkansas won't be scaring anybody. Morris has a major rebuild on his hands. If they give him time.

Hicks had success under Morris at SMU and knows the offense. Starkel was stuck behind Mond and knows RB Rakeem Boyd who was also at A&M with him, and should have a great shot to start in 2020.

I think the ceiling is still only around 6 wins but those two should be an upgrade over Ty Storey/Cole Kelley. Very good WR class coming in but still quite a few holes on the roster that need to be filled, 2020 is probably when we start to turn the corner. Play Notre Dame early on that year so we'll know a lot. These next few years we should have one of the youngest teams in the country with how much processing of the roster Morris has done.

They are improving their situation, and really selling that place well considering what they've been lately. That's gonna be a tough game in Fayetteville.

I think they are still another year away from actually competing in the SEC. They are going to have to fix the defense before they really do much. It is tough to compete with a defense ranked in the 90s-110.

Arkansas is going to suck a lot less than 2018. That's enough to get us in trouble in Fayetteville during a rebuild year.
