Any word on how Abrams performed today? DBs go today. Isn't Peters there also?

4.5 on his first 40

Peters ran about a 4.63 on his second 40

That's all I know so far

Damn. That's a good time.

Sweat was faster. Still shocking to me

Sweat is a lottery pick now.

Speaking of speed, DK Metcalf ran a 4.33....but he was abysmal in the cone and agility drills. So in typical OM-WR fashion, he leaves school with zero route-running ability. I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

I knew Abram would go 4.5 after seeing that penalty hit on a kickoff vs Kansas State. Was like he was running double the speed of anyone else.

Abram gonna be a star in the NFL.

Ole Miss had the fastest player at the combine - safety Z Woods at 4.29

They had another CB run 4.43 so whoever was doing their 40 yard dashing training earned their paycheck.

I didn't see their secondary cover too many WR's this year, speedy or not, lol.

4.8 is about where I thought mclaurin would make it.
He's not gonna make it in league unless he puts on pounds to be a hybrid safety/LB

His frame won't hold enough weight to be a lb

Why haven't we heard of any of these guys?

Gruden loves Metcalf. I think DK is going in the first 15 picks.

Because they weren't very good football players and weren't coached very well.

Wouldn't surprise me...his athleticism can't be taught, obviously. He better learn some routes and loosen those hips, though...

He will need to work on the route running but anyone thinking Metcalf will be a potential bust due to Treadwell's career so far is wrong. Treadwell ran what? a 4.7ish time. He didn't have the speed to be a below average route runner.

If Metcalf becomes just an average route runner he will be fine with the rest of the package that he brings to the table. As much as I hate to say it I think he and Brown will end up having decent careers.

Pretty impressive the amount of talent that is coming out of the MS schools this year.

Oh, I know he's not Treadwell, and wasn't comparing the two. It's just interesting because at the same time of blowing everyone away with his speed, he was one of the worst in the cone and agility drills....one. of. the. worst.

He very well may be a perennial pro-bowler, but those things will have to be addressed.

This x1000

And we need Jeffrey Simmons so that we have a pro size interior lineman to complement tank and the other ends.
