We really need to lock up that 5 seed
SC I believe has an easy route to the #4
UM may go 1-3 to end the season, finishing 10-8. Not sure
what the tiebreaker is tho.
We need 3-1 but 2-2 may do it.
Don?t think we can get to #4 unless SC just
tanks the rest of the regular season.

If State could go 11-7 (beat Auburn, Mizzou and A&M), there could be a tie with SC and/or Ole Miss.

If there's a tie, then it's head to head. Since State split with SC and Ole Miss, then it goes to who has the best record vs. the 1 seed, then 2 seed and so on until the tie is broken.

South Carolina has lost to LSU, Kentucky and Tennessee already. Ole Miss to just LSU - UT and UK still on the schedule. MSU to LSU and UK - UT still on the schedule.

Assuming that State loses to UT, then the tiebreaker with South Carolina would likely come down to SC being 1-0 vs. OM and State being 1-1, giving SC the #4 seed. But like you say, their schedule is pretty easy down the stretch so they will probably go 12-6 or 13-5 and lock up the 4 seed without tiebreakers.

If State is tied with OM for the 5 seed, then it will probably come down to OM being 0-1 vs. SC and State being 1-1, so State would get the tiebreak. That is assuming that State loses to UT and OM loses to UT & UK.

That triple dribble/walk, "no call," looms bigger and bigger. Doesn't it?
