With all the weather geeks on this board and I am one of them I can't believe nothing was posted on here about the tornado that hit Columbus. Heck I didn't even know one hit till I saw it on youtube. My question is since it started around 4 and near Artesia Road, I guess this was he one that hit Columbus, did anyone watch it develop and/or follow it?

It appeared to start developing around the Starkville country club then to artisa/blackjack road

There is one vid of a chase/traveler at the somewhere near that area showing the funnel developing and a few more showing drivers/chasers coming up 45A near crawford with the funnels crossing 45. Funny listening to the passenger yelling stop and and driver just ignoring him in one of the vids.

Of course it was mentioned. There’s an entire severe weather thread. Starkvegasdawg was chasing. ScoobaDawg posted a vid of it.

Starkvegasdawg warned of another potential threat later this week.

First, as mentioned below. I did post any videos I could find on twitter of the tornado and any damage done..including the sad news of 1 death.
I would suggest not checking Youtube for breaking weather news. A better source is twitter... and then follow to any live feeds or reports.

I think it was the same cell but not certain. The Artesia tornado is rated an ef-0 while Columbus was an ef-3
