I talked to a Hwy Patrolman at the gym. He said one of the first signs someone is driving drunk is the head lights not being change to deem. He also said that is really the only reason they pull you over. Another give away is tail gating the car in front of you and stopped for a long period of time at a stop sign when no traffic is coming.

Here's something that might not go over to well with this crowd, but I hope he gets the help he needs and is able to recover from all the judgement from the holier than thou crowd. He has a bright future academically.

So you're saying that you disagree that he should be burned at the stake in the Cotton District?**

Yep - and we all survived it.

I get this running in the Starkville News, maybe even the CL. But, why is USA Today running stories on this? It's boneheaded, but is it news?

I agree, happens at every college.

I venture say most of the people posting on this board are lucky they didn't stopped for a DUI while in college. But I agree, definitely do not drive while under the influence of alcohol.

Lol. How many of y'all have driven after a few? He just got caught.

He's a kid. It sucks, but it happens. They're human too. Hopefully he'll learn it's not worth it and make a different decision in the future. If he does, this might be a good lesson long term.

Jeez, you make it sound like the guy is an alcoholic. While that could be the case, from the facts we have it looks like he made a stupid decision, will pay the price and hopefully not do that again.

Yep. And lol at saying people have an holier than thou attitude here. Nobody has said anything bad or untrue. People have called him an idiot for doing it.

That's all that has been said and there is nothing wrong with saying that.

He is an idiot for doing it. That's not really debatable
