I saw MS Baseball Fan on facebook say that lsu only has one LHP on their roster and he hurt his elbow and is out for the season. I thought that there was no way this is correct, so I go to their roster and sure enough, he was correct. I had no idea that any college program would be caught with 0 left handed pitchers much less the mighty tigers.

Here's what their pitching staff has done so far this year:

7 runs given up to Louisiana Monroe

5 runs to Army

5 runs to Air Force

5 to Southeastern Louisiana

6 and 8 to Bryant

If I'm LSU im concerned I haven't given up less than 5 runs in any game we've played this year. They've hit the ball well for sure. But they are giving up a lot of runs.

To contrast, we've given up 8 TOTAL runs this year.

As i said before LSU has a lot of work to do. I thought their pitching was suspect and now not having a LH is a big blow.

In at least 2 of their 3 games this weekend, Bryant had the tying or winning run at the plate. Friday night LSU almost blew a 10-1 lead.
