Tulane had an 11-9 lead going into the 9th and blew it to go behind 12-11. Then Ole Miss blew it in the bottom of the 9th as Carracci gave up a 2 run walk-off home run for a 13-12 final for Tulane.

Ole Miss's starter only went 2.2 IP and got shelled. Gave up something like 7 runs in 2 IP.

They are good, but they did lose 3 weekend starters. They can hit and that has helped mask the issue somewhat.

If they couldn't hit they would be in big trouble right now. As it is they are 3-2 and they have had one quality start from their pitching staff.

What a great day this has turned out to be. The icing on the cake will be a basketball win tonight.

Would've been nice had Georgia not gone full retard on their last possession....would've been hilarious had they walked off OM; it would've killed their NET.

They will have several games like that this year. They can rake with the best of them, but losing all of their pitching will be hard to replace.

I'll take our team over their's all day, any day.

They've had to deal with some pitching injuries already too.

They also haven’t really faced a good quality arm. Yes, they are ripping the pitching they are facing, but wait til UAB throws Ashcraft or they face a really good sec arm. As usual they are ranked high, yet lost all their pitching. We lost one pitcher and had to start in the teens.

I was out in the yard, cutting down a 25 ft dead lime tree and bamboo. The roar of the crowd after that walkoff was as loud of a roar from Tulane campus as I?ve heard in 8 years living here. I live about 3/10ths of a mile from Yulman. When I first heard the roar it was alarming and I didn?t know what was going on. Then remembered the game. Sounded like they were playing across the street.

If Ole Miss doesn’t pick it up with their pitching, they’ll be in trouble come SEC play.

They really pissed that team away last year by choking in the regionals.

They're missing Rolison pretty bad.

Hopefully Tulane will win tomorrow and even up OM's record at 3-3. :)

Ole Miss is not a great team. You aren't going to outhit everyone on SEC weekends in today's game. You have to be able to pitch and they have CUSA level production in that spot. It's going to be a fun year to watch that unfold.

Kobi Owen, outfielder for Tulane, hit 2 bombs yesterday against the Rebs. His dad is an MSU grad. Kobi played high school ball in Texas.
