Midweek Baseball Games

Can someone explain to me why we are playing so many games on a Weds. night? To me, playing any sport on a "church night" in Mississippi isn't a great idea- whether that's Sunday or Wednesday. But that's me and maybe there is a good reason for it?

Monday is off day, no practice. So they have Tuesday practice then play Wednesday.

I tend to agree but we've been playing SEC basketball games on Wednesday nights for years and years. Guess if its not a consideration for basketball games then we shouldn't expect it to be one for baseball games either. At this point it seems nobody even cares about scheduling games conflicting with Sunday services much less Wednesday services.

We only have 5 that Wednesday is the only midweek game; we had 6 last year... it’s less than a non-issue.

We are no longer playing 4-games series on early weekends, so something had to give.
