I'm assuming most of their fans DGAF about vacating wins that they'll always have good memories attached to. Vacating wins is cheap. If the NCAA really wanted to make 'em hurt, they'd have docked them more than 13 scholarships (especially since OM had already self-docked 5 at the time, so only 7 were added...) and not overturned their recruiting visits restriction. Cheap. Yeah, it's great that 2014 EB doesn't count in the record books, but is sure as shit counted for us....

After reading the article, that appears what Ole Miss’ proposal is to the NCAA...

Does this mean we'll make the CFP in 2014 now and win Natty against Bama in rematch? ... instead of OSU winning it all. Does this void the OSU natty?

Vacated wins don't really mean shit but it is funny that Hugh Freeze now only has 12 wins as Ole Miss coach.

Maybe, but you could argue that it's the absolute floor of what they'll end up vacating. Of course given how everything else has played out in this saga it wouldn't shock me if the NCAA gave them 10 wins or so back.

This reads more like what OM submitted to the NCAA and not what was sent down from the NCAA. It's certainly possible that is all we will see on the issue, but the wording is suspiciously like what Bjork would say/want ("Tunsil sat out seven games in 2015, so no games from that season have to be vacated", and not like an official ruling from the NCAA.

Also, how is Benito Jones ineligible in 2016 but not in 2017, 2018, and 2019? Maybe 2017 and 2018 simply aren't part of the NCAA investigation, but Jones is supposed to return in 2019?

Makes the all time series closer. I like it. That's the last vestige of their old past they have left. I hope I live to see the day we even the series

?It's the last part of this process," Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork said. "In a way it's just a piece of paper because you saw those games."

What an arrogant cock sucker.

I predict they will be busted again in three years. I wonder when did they learn of this?

I have a really hard time believing that they didn't have any ineligible players in 2015.

I bet they never have a 2013 type class ever again where they steal recruits from bluebloods nationally.

My second team had to vacate a bunch a while back. It's kind of hard to talk about them now with anyone other than other fans of that school. In fact it's impossible. All they say is didn't you have to give that one up? That ends the conversation.
