The pass oriented offense of Freeze and Longo, that wide receivers loved, is now a fading memory. Hard to promote it when it just ain't there anymore. Adding Will Rogers and Coach Johnson to the Good Guys, and hopefully that should happen of Mingo being a Dawg.

And here's the thing OM people can't seem to understand. Yes, we've been a run heavy offense for many years now but Moorhead has been very open about how we're throwing the ball moving forward and getting receivers like Mingo and QBs like Schrader and Rogers that fit his system will accomplish that.

Mingo can come here, play early, be with his boys, be with his QB, and build some draft stock. It makes sense.

I'm plenty critical of preacher, but this is far off.

The recruiting thread is a big long thread. It takes time to go through it.
