If we played good defense they wouldn’t be shooting open shots. Their 3 misses were with a hand in their face from 3. Their six makes all were wide ass open. You can’t go under screens you have to go over. Also you have to switch and force them off the line and put the ball on the floor. We did that early. In fact we were playing great defense and then Howland subbed in Holman and it destroyed us to the tune of a 13-0 run. I wouldn’t put Holman in the rest of the game and ride with Perry, Ado, and Woodard. Those three guys have given great effort. I think the key to the second half is getting out on their shooters and making them uncomfortable. We do that and we will be fine.

I gotcha. Well we finally played good defense down the stretch and Holman wasn’t out there. I like the message this sends to Holman that if you aren’t going to play good defense you aren’t going to play. If this motivates Holman, this team could be extremely good down the stretch.

Think I will just have to pull for other teams we beat. Actually you want everyone on your schedule to good, but, for me, you won't ever see me pulling for them, unless it's a matter like winning the sec in baseball few years ago. But that's the only exception.

After today a 5 team tie for 5th place and I think South Carolina is about to come down to earth. 4th place is definitely a good goal for this team to finish down the stretch.
