As of this morning, the SEC as 11 teams in the top 25 recruiting class rankings (247). That correlates to 44% of the top 25.

Or, you can look at it this way, 79% of the SEC is in the top 25 in recruiting.

Also, every team (100%) in the SEC West is in the top recruitment 25.

With a bird's eye view, it can be concluded that the SEC is the most desirable conference to play in as a player.

The talent pool in the SEC is extremely deep compared to other conferences.

The SEC West is probably the hardest to compete with as compared to talent.

As for other conferences in the top 25:

Big 12 - 2
Big 10 - 5
PAC 12 - 4
Ind. - 1
ACC. - 2

3 of the top 7 are sec west. If auburn finishes strong, 4 of the top 10 will be sec west. There's a chance 3 of the top 5 will be sec west.

Which makes me wonder how we really haven’t been able to get a game breaker WR.....we haven’t had one since Eric Moulds.
