....losing to SC in Columbia. We both would have one loss. Who gets the #1 seed for the SEC tourney? And to make matters worse, the tourney, I think, is going to be held in South Carolina. So, no matter what happens, the Gamecock Gals will have a major homecourt advantage.

I believe the tourney is is Greenville, SC. I'm not sure of the tie breaker in the scenario in which you describe. coach Vic will have his team prepared regardless.

If we don't enter the SEC as the #1 we're probably not entering the overall tourney as a 1. That's more important in my opinion. I think our chance to win the SEC isn't impacted much between being a 1 or 2. We still have to play the other in the championship assuming both make it. However, making them have the 2 vs 3 matchup on their side would give them a more difficult path and possibly knock out the home team. Either way, I think we run the table in the tournament.
