Dismissed from the team for violation of team rules.

What a damn shame. He had good stuff when he could control it.

Hate that , but he?s had more chances than he should?ve to get clean.

That's a big loss, are you sure he is dismissed and not suspended?

sad waste of arm talent - one of the interviews I heard had asked about him the other day and they said he was doing well.

I heard dismissed. Real shame. Couldn't stay on track

Not a huge shock. He's lived on the edge forever. Hate it, but it's his fault.

He reminded me of Nuke Laloosh. I don't know that it's a big loss. His command was always way off and I don't think he would have cracked the rotation or been a major guy out of the pen being as wild as he was.

He was not good.

This sucks for several reasons. But he knew the consequences.

The old adage, million dollar arm and a ten cent brain, well that's Denver, except the million dollar arm part.

Perfect fit, Todd. My buddies and I have been calling him Nuke since last year. And I'm with ya, I don't think it's a huge loss. $10 million dollar arm and a 5 cent head. Hate it for him on a personal level, but I just never had the feeling he'd put it together. Latest in our long line of guys with ridiculous arms and no command.

No big deal. Hasn't shown he's capable of helping us much.

Guys with great talent have indiscretions swept under the rug from an early age when it comes to athletics. And this is what that very thing can lead to.

He showed he has potential. Great FB and great sinker. As a program all you can do is get guys with potential and hope they get it together. Dakota Hudson was nothing till his Jr year, for example

This will save me from the stomach ache I got every time I heard he was starting a big midweek game. He came through some, but the walks and control issues made me want to put my face through a glass window. Hate it for depth though. Hope the kid gets his crap together so baseball is the only thing he ruins in his life.

Good for Lemonis.

Is it safe to assume he was on scholarship, and we still have to count him against the 35? If he was already on a short rope, he shouldn't be.

That may knock our roster down to 33 players... we had one that was receiving scholarship transfer out and Mcquary...

I think Ashcraft, Knowlton, and now McQ are all scholarships losses

We also got a dead money TJ with a WHIP of Infinity still on the roster.

Ashcroft left prior to the year. He doesn't count. Just the other two you mentioned.

Hopefully we won’t have to pitch Mangum this year.

Saltydog

was still learning to pitch. From my understanding though, Foxhall had worked with him and his command was better. Where this hurts is when you get into post season tourney's.

He'll probably end up at USM and we'll get beat by our own player again.

If he has any sense he declares for the mlb draft .. and he will get drafted.

I would gladly face him and take the 11 walks that come with the 8 K's.

We would do what UGA did and just take every pitch unless it is meat ball, it would be 11 walks and 8 Hits
