My son over see's a large cow-calve operation in northern MS. He and his family came to visit me yesterday and I asked him about how wet the pastures were to drive in and he said, "they were really soft and he rode his horse as much as he could to check on the cows. I said, "why don't you get a drone to check your herds"? He said he had drones stationed around the place that kept him informed and he watched them very closely. Well it goes to show how behind the times I am. The drones he referenced too were buzzards. He said he had received several false readings due to deer season being open and the drones couldn't depicit the difference between the deer and the cows. I feel hook line and sinker.
