Dj handled the situation so badly last year that he won't be coming back anytime soon.

All I remember was that he busted his ass on the recruiting trail and was then let go. I don't recall anything else. What is it you're referring too?

I'd like to know what he did also? All I saw was he almost single-handedly kept the signing class together while the new staff was on Google trying to find out where Mississippi was located. I think we need some more coaches on offense who are familiar with the recruiting process in-state. We are basically starting over with these hires from the Northeast.

Looney didn't hold our class together. LOL! And he was very immature. He needs to move around and coach under some legit guys.

Maybe you're right, but this board was singing his praises back then. Looney was all over Twitter visiting everyone while we were getting a new staff together and this board certainly felt he was crucial.

And he was very immature.

Can you give specific examples? You're probably right but this is the first I'm hearing of it

He's very inexperienced for sure, but are you saying he needs to coach around because his coaching chops aren't up to par or because he needs time to mature? Johnson only coached OL for 1-2 years before we hired him

OK. Maybe some positions will open up at Colgate, Fordham, or UCONN where he can get some much needed experience.

It's ok to go find coaches that haven't already been here and gone before.

DJ did a good job during the transition period between Mullen and Joe helping with recruiting
And yeah it was a good hire in 2017 when we brought him in . Shit Hevesy needed all the help he could get in recruiting and DJ replaced Sallach so any warm body would have been an improvement there
DJ is where he needs to be
