Basketball schedule update

Now that we have a better handle on NET Rankings, here's how our schedule currently stacks up:

Wofford has a NET ranking of 30. Great call by those that said that was a great win because it is. They have a higher NET Ranking than we do.

Cincinnati is at 35. Florida at 43. St. Mary at 54. Clemson at 56. Dayton at 76. Vandy at 86. BYU just outside the Top 100 at 109.

Schedule so far is really helping us out. We've beaten some quality opponents. Next 5 game stretch will tell us quite a bit about our team. 3-2 tells me we have the juice to compete. Anything less than that will be disappointing.

This. I just want to watch us play in the NCAA tourney. I don't even care if it is in a play in game. Just get us in the bracket and I will be happy. We get in I think we can win two games (3 if it's a play-in) and see the 2nd weekend. If we do barely get in and it's a play-in just remember P5 teams have good records that win that first game and some G5 teams like VCU have taken that first win momentum all the way to the final four so being in the play-in games has actually been a good thing for teams. That said I think we will comfortably get in as a 8/9 seed.

I predict the 4 1 seeds are Duke, Tennessee, Gonzaga and Virginia and we won't be the weakest 8 seed per the committee so that close loss would be to Gonzaga or UVA if your prediction and my prediction are correct. I think Duke will be the overall #1 and they won't pair us up to play Tennessee in the 2nd round so it'd have to be vs one of the other two 1's. I'd be alright with playing vs Gonzaga (not my preference to play vs a #1 though obviously). I want zero part of Virginia.

3-2 over our next 5 would be incredible. We have the toughest 5 game stretch in the league coming up, and likely the toughest in the country.

Game is in Lexington but this is the most beatable UK team we've probably faced under Calipari. They still start 4 pros so I ain't saying it'll be easy but if we can shut down the whiteboy Herro we can get the W.
