Some of y’all are waaay too negative on Mingo. We are very much in it and he’s said as much. He’s told some people he’s flipping to State on NSD. Now it’s not uncommon for kids to tell multiple schools that but acting like MSU has no prayer is inaccurate.

Unfortunately it's how our fan base copes with recruiting. They have no reason to feel good about recruiting even though we've had recruiting wins on national signing day and before. Heck we've had at least one this year if you believe that Jarrian Jones almost flipped to LSU.

Agree, and if I'm a player with Mingo's talent, I'm seriously looking at who I'm going to be playing with for the next 4 years and what their talent level is, and then I realize that OM is still going to be wandering in the desert for the next 5 years with just-above Sun-Belt talent while MSU has strong SEC talent and depth in all phases -- If I'm Mingo, I'm choosing maroon.
