...during the early 70's. I was raised in a small town about 35 miles south of Nashville and loved Vandy basketball when I was a young teenager. I can still remember to this day the starting 5 on Vandy's team, who won an SEC Championship. The player's last names started with the letter "F" and I do remember another rotation starter on that very good team. I would stay up at night after the news and watch the game replays on a small black and white tv I had in my bedroom. Had I been a bluechip basketball player, I would have signed with the Commodores over MSU. My Dad was in the process of brainwashing me into a MSU fan, but hadn't quite finished the job yet!! LOL.
