Dam Garrett grew a pair! Thank the ghost of Tom Landry. Hope Jerry finds a OC who can bribg the cowboy offense into the 21st century. A good guy to go after that is under the radar is Joe Lombardi who is/was the QB coach at New Orleans.

That wasn't Garrett choice it was Stephen & Jerry doing.

Hopefully they will hire someone with experience in a spread offense. They have so much potential if they use their offensive pieces correctly.

I'd be trying to someone that coached under Andy Reid. Reid seems to really excel with dual threat guys.

Yeah Garrett said just a couple of days ago he expected Linehan to be back. This decision was made above his pay grade. They really need a fresh young offensive mind in Dallas for Dak and this offense to reach its full potential.

Read somewhere today that he was being considered.

Mullen isn't leaving a 4+ million a year head coaching job to be an OC. Hell, Mullen is a better coach than Garrett

The only way Mullen would leave for Dallas would be for an HC position. And I'm not so sure he would even do that.

Unless the rumor is that Mullen is being considered to replace Garrett, then that's a stupid ass rumor. Why in the hell would Mullen leave his $6 million per year head coaching job at Florida to make $2 million per year as an offensive coordinator?

The rumors are Mullen or Payton as HC

Saints win Super Bowl, Brees retires and Payton to the Cowboys.

Not far fetched even though unrealistic at current place in time. Next 3 weeks may change that

Looks like they're going to promote Kellen to OC

Lot of chatter in that direction. Seems odd, looking on from the outside. But apparently Dak likes Kellen and kept him from getting axed along with Linehan.

ETA - One major advantage in not going outside for the OC is not having a completely new playbook and terminology. Play calling was probably a bigger issue than the playbook.

I think it makes perfect sense, Jerry is gonna want someone who is a yes man and Kellen has only ever coached in Dallas

Dak does not like Moore as OC. It would mean Garrett is making the calls. Dallas can’t get out of their own way.
