I just saw that Indiana has one player on the second team and two on the third team in the Perfect Game pre-season all American teams. Jake was our only player on the lists.

Impressive.

By the way, it's a crime Jake wasn't 1st team.

We're going to be good. Of course we'll lose a series and people will meltdown but I think he will do well here. We improved our coaching staff by adding an elite pitching coach, retained our elite hitting coach and added a guy that can coach catchers. Lemonis seems to be more like a CEO coach than anything probably moreso than Polk, Cohen, and Cann were.

Excellent post, Todd. These quality position coaches are improving and tweaking to make this team achieve.

JOMO prefers Starbucks over Strangebrew.

Gene said he spoke to a mlb scout who said Lemo coaches the fundamentals of baseball to the point that he could be a coach in the minor?s. I know we didn?t get a splash hire regarding name, but every single name coach was a no-name at one time. I?m looking forward to what Lemo can do, especially with the new stadium to recruit to.
