Woody McCorvey. After accepting the award for Coach of the Year. Dabo brought Woody up and mentioned how important it was having him as a mentor in coaching. I know a lot of people hate Woody but great to see him mentoring some good coaches. He also was mentioned as a mentor to Freddie Kitchens.

So was Woody a good coach that was hampered by what Croom wanted him to do or just not in the correct position? Calling plays is kind of an art when you do it well.

Don't hate Woody or any other coach. It just didn't work out for our offense. That's all. Defense was good enough to win enough games. Offense wasn't.
