Well, he was Derek Dooley?s OC at Tennessee, and for Bert at Arky. That?s not a plus.
My UGA friends started calling for him to go last season, and hated him this year.

I think he has been living off the luck of having Drew Brees fall in his lap at Purdue.

I think he's a good coach. He isn't Kendal briles, but I think his style matches what Pruitt will want.

I think it's an odd move for him honestly too. Unless UT is really overpaying him by a lot. I'd much rather stay at Georgia with Fromm and their skill guys than go to UT where they are still building.

For what they were targeting it is kind of a meh hire. I don't think he is a difference maker, but I also don't know that he is a bad OC.
Overall his record is very pedestrian - outside of 2 seasons at a juggernaut (UGA) and 4 seasons with a NFL HOF QB at Purdue.
He went from top 25 scoring offenses with Brees to 93rd, 40th, 59th, 20th, 36th. Not bad, but not great either.

But, you left off his last year at Purdue and his Tennessee stint on S&P+ - also not bad, but not great either.

2011 - Tenn 47 (5-7)
