Could Geoff Collins jump to another job before ever coaching at GT?

Freezus? That would be a disaster

Venables?

I would think this would really help us with Emerson

They should try and hire Lane Kiffin. Dude would be perfect in that environment.

No doubt. That should probably be the move

Mark Richt has actually lost control of the program!

1 bad year, 2 great years before.

Makes some sense though. An alum never wants to be fired by his school like Kingbury & Richt was going to be on the hot seat next year. May not have wanted to put Miami in that situation

Or Manny, but of course, then that wouldve been discussed and worked out before taking Temple job.

Early rumors seem to be revolving around Cristobal as the perfect fit.

Would he ditch Oregon?

Dam didn't see this coming. Shame he couldn't do better there.

How long before the baby sharks doo doo da do start saying Richt to the plantation?

The cane culture and richt were never gonna jell. Came culture has always been about coke, cash, & corruption.

He'd run their ass in the ground. Would be a terrible fit for them.

Mullen to Miami?

Even though I get what you're saying, shitbird is already in the ground. But you are correct insinuating shitbird cannot win without corruption that a guy like richt ain't gonna fall on the sword for

Well here is why fans should never be comfortable. WVU likely to be open and now Miami. This is not i repeat NOT jomo to anywhere just that there could be a trickle down effect

Honestly I?m more concerned With WVU than Miami with any of our coaches

Miami could have hired Mullen instead of Richt. Mullen wanted the job when he was job hunting while being coach at State.

Ex-hurricane, i think that's exactly who it will be. Hey Mullen, recruiting Florida would be even tougher

It wouldn't shock me if Cristobal took it being born & raised in Miami, played at Miami, & coached at Miami. However he looks to be on the cusp of something special at Oregon especially with USC looking clueless as an athletic dept.

Not sure if the ** indicates it's a joke, but I haven't seen that anywhere. I'd like to not worry about a head coaching change at MSU for the first time in nearly a decade.

Bad look for Richt. Looks like a straight up quitter. Probably shouldn't have jumped straight to Miami after leaving UGA.

Ehh maybe. He's a major factor in California. In Florida he's battling FSU Florida UGA & Bama.

This is the flaw with the early signing period. It doesn't leave time for the coaching carousel to balance out before high school kids make a college decision.

Unless they've enrolled, it should be void

How many of these have worked? Pete Carroll and who?

I think Florida is a better job than Miami. It's in the SEC, not the ACC, and it's not in Miami.

Depends on how you define it. Technically, Saban came from the NFL but I get your point.

I don't think Rex would be organized enough to run a CFB program. In the NFL, the head coach only has to worry about coaching. In CFB, he has to be the GM as well.

The academic side of Miami is trying desperately to get rid of that reputation. I'd be pretty surprised if they went after Kiffin. They need another Richt-esq personality. I immediately thought of Collins, but I don't think that'll happen.

Easier to win at Miami, especially right now.

Rex Ryan at Miami would be a beautiful disaster to watch but I don't see that happening.

True, but it doesn't mean much when you're beating Duke, Wake Forest, etc.

I suppose that argument is sorta busted given Clemson, but they really are a good team. They just consistently don't play a tough schedule year after year.
