They are apparently targeting Holgorsen from West Virginia. Not sure why he would leave. But Houston to me isn't a super attractive job. They are gonna struggle to find someone decent.

WVU should be a better job than Houston. They're in a Power 5 conference.

Houston is like UCF. Too high an opinion of themselves.

Yea, they can forget that, no way would they get Holgorsen. Even if he were a Houston alum I doubt he would make that move.

Holgerson left UH to go to WVU I think. Why would he come back?

Never mind I am wrong, he was OC. But I doubt he would come back to UH.

Because of Tilman Fertitta

Because of Tilman Fertitta

Tilman could open the bank vault, but it doesn't change UH's status. There are more LSU fans in Houston than UH. That is not to say they can't win, because they can in their conference. But, with Herman at UT, Fisher at A&M, Ogre at LSU, and everyone else, I don't see how it does much.

Interesting turn of events.

Lesson to be learned is: Bowl games "really" don't matter... unless you get embarrassed by a service academy 70-14.

Normally I'm in the bowl wins aren't that important outside the NY6 and playoffs, but that was one of the worst performances I've ever seen.

Well that?s fair but the way he handled the situation with the DL and rumors of off field issues has really made him almost impossible to keep

Yeah, that incident with top NFL-prospect Oliver sitting out the game but wearing a coat on the sideline was weird and gave the impression that he runs a loose ship and may not really be in control. But that bowl game performance was beyond embarrassing.
