We were 19th in NET before yesterday's games. Should get an update today that updates the results from yesterday's games.

I haven't paid enough attention to how a win like yesterday will move us in these new NET rankings (Wright State was 149 in NET heading into last night).

For reference we have the 2nd highest NET behind only Tennessee.

No, but there were a lot of people who thought the world was gonna end and that the season was shot. But our guys have responded nicely.

I didn't see anyone that thought our season was shot due to that. Perhaps it was your own thoughts

Or perhaps you fail to acknowledge how our fans "melt" like no other when our Dogs meet a little adversity.

But again, our run through Dayton, Clemson, Cincy and Wofford has positioned us for a #4 seed if we can find 13 to 14 SEC wins. In fact, it can be argued that our out-of-conference success is better than any other SEC team, and certainly among the top 3 SEC teams. Up until yesterday's UK win over NCarolina, the SEC had pretty much "whiffed" on big out-of-conference matchups, which is what propelled the SEC to landing 8 teams in the Big Dance last year.

Ha ha, melt? Not "us".

We just dug ourselves too deep of a hole against ASU. We played lights out the second half of that game. We should start to make another jump in the polls.

Hurley has that bunch playing pretty good of late. When we played them in Las Vegas, I could tell we would have to up our energy in order to not be embarrassed. AZState came out smokin' and playing like they had new EverReady batteries installed in them. We didn't really respond well until the 2nd half.....but we ran out of time in our comeback. Even though a loss......won't be considered a bad loss come Dance time.

Anyone that watched our game against them should have noticed quickly that they are for real. And we had our chances. As someone else said, we just got too far down early and couldn’t quite get back in it.

New NET ranking has us at 19th. Would put us in the 4-5 seed range now. BYU, our next opponent, is at 116.

SEC has 13 of its 14 teams in the Top 100 NET rankings. Unfortunately the only team outside the Top 100 is SC, whom we play twice this year. We will get plenty of chances to win games against good teams, but you would have hoped that SC would be a lot better than they have proven to be.

Our non conference SOS is 132 which is much better than last year.
