Saints LT Terron Armstead (shoulder) will play in Week 16 against the Steelers.

Armstead returns after missing the last five weeks. It's a huge upgrade to the Saints' offensive line, sending Jermon Bushrod back to a swing role. Armstead was PFF's top-ranked tackle before going down.

This is huge. 1 win away from home field throughout, and we getting our stud LT back. Ginn was a full practice yesterday too. Stars are aligning...

They need something good because teams have figured them out a little. I think all the top teams have been exposed a little the last few weeks though.

It's late in the season... happens every year (defense starts taking over). Good thing for the saints is their defense has become one of the best. It's been 7 games since someone scored 20 vs the saints. Since week 10, the saints have the best defense in the nfl.

Their offense this year is more power run/play action... they are pretty banged up... they need a bye week or two....

Dallas exposed them a few weeks ago and everybody else is copying that game for their defense. If Dallas gets Sean Lee back healthy, they will have 2 of the very best LBs in the NFL going for them. Should help Dak get more opportunities. But, the Cowboys still got to win one more to make it.

Most teams play better at home than on the road. This is not a new revelation or the Saints being exposed.
It's pretty simple. If the Saints play all their playoff games in the Dome they go to the Super Bowl. Who Dat!

Not only that but with the exception of KC there are not any AFC teams that will compete with the Saints ,Rams or Bears this year. Like last year whoever won the NFC was the defacto SB winner.

The entire O-Line is somewhat banged up but probable. I wish they could give a few of those guys the next 2 games off, but it would probably get Drew killed.

Huge game today for Steelers. Ravens winning last night has put a lot of pressure on Steelers to win. The saints have 2 shots at home field, so while a big game, not a must win.

Saints aren’t a given for the Super Bowl. Lots of teams with little separation.

Lock, no, but...

Saints 2/1 to win super bowl
Rams 2nd at 10/2

Saints 5/6 to make super bowl out of nfc
Rams 2nd at 13/5

Saints are overwhelming favorite

Winner of Rams and Bears will be tough, assuming that match up happens. Bears defense scared me. Saints D is a lot better than they were but they gave up plays tonight. Rams will score.

Nfl passer rating leaders:

3. Wilson 112.7

QBR:
1. Mahomes 81.4
2. Brees 81.2
3. Big Ben 73.5

Nfc scoring offense/defense rankings:
Saints 2nd/8th
Rams 3rd/17th
Bears 9th/3rd
Cowboys 24th/4th

They're the best nfc team with the best qb and at home. Take care of business saints

Saints pass defense is terrible. Their division is bad as well. They're the only team with a winning record. But, they've got home field and Brees.

Hell no! Dallas won't win a playoff game. The Bears, Rams, & Seattle are all scary teams. Just not a lot of difference in them all.

Minnesota scares me more than any team we could play in divisional round. If saints win that game after the bye, I think they're in the super bowl. The bye after resting guys this week scares me, a little

Agree, I see da'Bears being much more of a threat to the Saints (than the Rams) given the Rams' play during the past month.

Bears are the scariest team in it because you know their defense is good and it's hard to get a feel for that offense.

Bears on road this year:
Packers over bears 24-23
Bears over cards 16-14
Dolphins over bears 31-28
Bears over bills 41-9
Bears over lions 23-16
Giants over bears 30-27
Bears over 49ers 14-9
Bears at Vikings this week

Bears haven't played a winning team yet on the road. They're 4-3, and they're wins are over teams with a combined record of 17-43. In those wins, they only won 1 by more than 7... they aren't very good on the road

The Vikings have brought us a lot of heart ache over the years. The rest is needed especially to rehab the two OT's.

Bridgewater is gonna get the start next week. If I'm Sean Payton I'd roll with Taysom Hill and run a combo of zone read, wildcat and an occasional drop back to the 2nd group of WRs...Kirkwood, Lewis, Carr.

I'd play Ginn. He played yesterday, but been out a long time
