So hes only been out of HS 1 year, and has been at juco? So does that mean hell have to sit a year? Or can he play immediately?

Why didn't you recruit him to the high level college football team you coach?

Punting killed us in the LSU and Florida games. Definitely need an upgrade there. The kid from Northwest Rankin can punt pretty dang good and with an actual special teams coach could be really good. Let him walk on too and see how that goes

Is a punter always a walk-on? Was Walker (can't remember his first name) 15 or so years ago a scholarship player?

Hell Day is on a scholly right now, right? Pretty sure Mullen gave him one being he was an AA.

Jeff Walker from Kirk Academy. On scholarship. He told Sherrill that if punting didn't work out, he wanted to try fullback. He was a big, thick, athletic kid. He wasn't built like a kicker. Did punting and kickoffs. He actually played some fullback and linebacker occasionally on the scout team.
