With the malfunction in Oxford today, & us having a solid class committed & signed, it's clear which program the rest of these in-state kids need to sign up with.
Let's go coaches. Go clean up the green.

Winning the Egg Bowl was huge this year- as well as how we dominated it. Losing to them two years in a row would have hurt us with the in state players.
Thought I would mention this since you often ask how we take the next step and get the best players in maroon and white.

Not getting Young. Ealy is baseball 100%. Plumlee and Mingo are who you're after and I don't think Mingo flips to us (Other than Bucky, not many do). He'd flip for UGA but that's not happening.

A lot will depend on who OM gets as OC. We helped our case with him offering Will Rogers.
Im not telling you we get him, but we are def in the game. It will be a signing day decision. I said a while back it will be us or UGA in the end. UGA has offered him but I dont think its what he wants

Agree on all. I think we get Plumlee. Mingo maybe but I doubt it.

No shot, well maybe one in a million but yeah he's just wanting to see the world outside of Jones county. Byron likes to have a good time.
ETA Pickering has worked Byron hard too and so has Jarrian.

My son just told me we actually have a shot with Byron, they been buddies a long time, hope he's right but doubt it. He says we gonna get Mingo too. I do know that Pickering and Jarrian are working them hard.

As CC stated, I think it's Young's decision to wait. Bammer's got 2 other, higher rated, SDEs but he's a top 100 rated guy, so I have to think Bammer would sign em at anytime... I think there'd have to be a unlikely, bizarre situation where Bammer got a late influx of really highly rated guys to squeeze out Young....

My thing with Young is that at least things are clearer now. At least he can pull up depth charts, talk to friends, and better see where he fits. Also, our coaches can really focus on him.

Young would give us a championship level dline if they pan out. Skill positions (wr and cb) continue to hold us back

Young is a good kid that's going to be nice. But we aren't going to get him unless everybody else fills up before he signs.

Would love for us to get Byron. Maybe my kids right, he's known him longer than I have but I just don't think he comes to State. Hope I'm wrong.
