So, we're losing a 3 star out of state CB that is under 6'0" tall and we're "getting our ass kicked in recruiting"?

The only way to continue to recruit better is to keep winning, keep putting people in the NFL, and keep recruiting hard. I believe that most of our recruiting problems were from not recruiting hard enough under Mullen. With Joe we are in year one of his regime and currently have a top 20 recruiting class. As he builds more relationships the recruiting will improve.

QB- 4 star player
RB- Added a JUCO that was a former UA All-American. May flip Ealy who is a four star as well.
WR- 3 star players for now but have 2 4 stars committed for next year.
TE- Not a need this year.
OL- We just flipped the hottest player in the state of Mississippi in Cross from Florida State. I believe Cunningham is a 4 star recruit on some sites as well. Have the top JUCO OL prospect in the state committed as well.

DL- Pickering, Moore, and Russell are all four star recruits.
LB- Ani is a four star edge player.
CB- Took it on the chin today but I think we offer and flip Plumlee who is a four star player. Could play WR as well. Also have a four star CB committed for 2020.
S- Jarrian Jones is a 4 star prospect.


We're getting more four star players- most of whom are in state four star players- and we're also seeing much more balance in our class than we typically did under Dan. Part of the problem under Dan was not signing enough players at certain positions- that's how you end up starting sophomores who aren't ready yet.

Unless they are able to go on visits and drum up interest for our university. Might help our coaches figure out if guys visiting other schools want to go elsewhere. This early signing day I believe has actually made it potentially advantageous for a school like ours to keep our top guys uncommitted.

If a guy like Pickering is truly committed to us (and I firmly believe he is), why not send him on some visits to see if he can help Moorhead figure out if there are some talented kids on official visits that might want to come to another school like ours? Pickering signing today would do nothing for us except shut him down. Now he can still verbally and physically get in front of other kids and recruit them.

TBuck has no impact on the $$$ Bama and Auburn throw at recruits. This is exactly why I started the thread the other day, HOPING THE NEW STAFF WAS PREPARED TO COMBAT THE SHENANIGANS that were forthcoming.

To which Ari dumbass responded that I was an idiot for bringing the topic up. I?ve seen it happen too many times and far too often to know that we play too nicely in the recruiting game. It wasn?t just under Don. We historically play these things too nice and don?t do whatever it takes. Some white lies are forgiven over time by these recruits. If they weren?t Bama, auburn and the other high paying programs would have mass transfers.

I was simply stating Sunday that I sure hope this staff is different and does not allow this shit right at the end of the recruiting periods. Apparently they are no different and we still have not learned how to play the game.
