Game vs Indy kicks off at 12:00

Sean Lee is back today but not starting. On a pitch count.

Zack Martin, David Irving, & Taco Charlton are out.

Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with a win today

With the way the other guy is playing Sean Lee can take his time getting 100% healthy in time for the playoffs,

100% agree & that's likely the plan.

However, in order to be good at football, you have to play football.

Sounds like the Cowboys plan on playing Lee an increasing number of snaps each week leading up to the playoffs

Saw this the other day. Dak set a Dallas record for completions last week.

https://sports.yahoo.com/dak-prescott-nearly-set-nfl-195915359.html

Prescott?s 42 completions bettered Tony Romo?s team record of 41 completions against the Giants on Dec. 6, 2009. Only six quarterbacks in NFL history have completed more passes in a game than Prescott, led by the 45 completions Drew Bledsoe had for the Patriots in a Nov. 13, 1994, game against the Vikings.

Yet, Prescott?s teammate, Amari Cooper, won NFC Offensive Player of the Week after catching 10 of Prescott?s passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns.

While Cooper, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys defense have gotten most of the credit during the Cowboys? five-game winning streak, Prescott quietly has played MVP-esque. His 75.1 completion percentage over the past five weeks leads the league, and he has passed for 1,471 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions for a passer rating of 106.8.

Even though the Cowboys don't score a TON of points, their offense gets a ton of first downs & thus keeps their defense off the field.

It gives the Cowboys defense a huge advantage late in games

Cooterpoot
12-16-2018, 01:33 PM
Dak deserves the criticism about holding the ball and being late with throws. He also lacks chemistry with receivers not named Cooper. He’s got a lot of correctable issues a good QB coach should be able to fix. Dallas doesn’t have one.

And why isn't Dak in the Shotgun more. No one has their QB under center everyplay in the NFL anymore. Garrett, JJones, is taking away one of Daks important assets which is the THREAT of a run. But since JJ still believes that the same offense he ran at Arkie in 1964 the boys aren't going anywhere. BTW Romo, Brees and Brady would be getting murdered in this O/

I've been a cowboy since 1966. One thing about Clint and Tex. They let Landry run every facet of the game and they ran everything else. Landry also adjusted to the changing aspects of the game with the Flex D and in 1975 by putting Roger back in the shotgun. BTW he hated it everytime Roger scrambled. JJ won't adjust. They?ve certainly played like it. Most disappointed with the defense. If you supposedly have an ?elite? defense like they keep saying they do you don?t give up 23 to the Colts. That doesn?t give you any chance to win. I thought their playcalling on offense was predictable as well.
