Bill Fralic passed away today @ age 56 after a long battle with cancer.

He was a teammate of mine @ Pitt in the early 80s.

Bill was a three-time 1st team All-America, unanimous selection his junior and senior years, and finished 6th in the Heisman vote in 1984.

He was an incredible teammate and an All-Time All-America human being.

He made college football better.

RIP, Billy.

Fralic was one of my favorites on some pretty awful Falcons teams in the late 80s. Definitely sad to hear.

Be careful of that oldtimers shi(. 56 isn't old. Now if you are in the 80-90 range like Dawg61 then thats oldtimer age.

I can see that.

Billy was a senior when I was a frosh. Really took me and many others unders his wing. And he didn?t need to.

Most wouldn?t understand his impact on the game, and I was trying to address those fom my/earlier generation.

Nonetheless, he was an excellent man.

Peace.
