Not sure what's worse: Jesus handling his junk, or the fact that he's "met" Jesus.

He's so arrogant he thinks he can treat his wife and children however he wants and Jesus will forgive him. Players, co-workers, supporters, higher ups...doesn't matter.

As an Episcopalian we believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Yes, we confess during services each week, but it doesn't mean we can do whatever we want in society. Evangelicals ride this public confession/redemption train like there's no tomorrow.

If he is Baptist, it can get worse. A lot of them view that with predestination that since they are one of the 'elect', they can do whatever they want and it's fine.

The hits just keep on coming:

“A bowl game next year. And I’ve been to some good ones. The Sugar Bowl and the Peach Bowl. And I love that light-up in our kids eyes when they get that card that has $700 on it and you can pick that recliner over here or a TV over here. And you know what, nothing will give me greater joy than to see our young men get to experience that. And I will spend the better part of my time until that occurs.”

I've seen many a pastor take that lead: "How dare you oppose or challenge me!"

And this is what pisses me off most about Freeze. Some folks will use that POS to belittle and insult Baptists in general.

Baptist theology is not calvinists. That is Presbyterian . Now calvinists are infiltrating into baptist churches which sucks.

Obviously you don't get into these sort of conversations with everybody you meet in real life. But I have never ever met a baptist that wasn't Calvinist. What am I missing?

Im baptist and our doctrine is not grounded in Calvinism. Now there is a Calvinist movement within the southern baptist convention that is gaining steam. Calvinism is a basic doctrine in Presbyterian churches but not in baptist. Thats not to say there are no baptist people who have Calvinistic views. Im simply saying that is not the doctrine at the heart of Baptists church.

Robin Williams once compared the Episcopal church to Catholicism as "same religion, half the guilt", lol.
