We've responded immediately both times they started stretching it out on us. Gotta get back on defense, and hope they quit hitting 3's at the rate that they are

That's the thing, this team is not as good offensively as we were last year so we HAVE to be better defensively to be on par. Tonight we stink defensively.

Sometimes I think both of our BB coaches get us in trouble because they refuse to play zone. We could stop a lot of their points in the paint if we had McCowan just posted up in the middle.

Focused or not, this Marquette team looked a lot better than Texas with a lot more skilled players. Only thing they were really missing was a presence in the post.

Not arguing. I said the other day Texas wasn't that good so we don't need to be too excited about it. We got a ways to go to get to UConn & top 4 or so. After Texas I thought we seemed a little slower than I'd like. May have just had an off night and been sluggish tho. Still time to get there. Keep working and maybe winning some ugly games, then start rounding into form around 1st couple of weeks in Feb.

This is true. Everyone needs to pump the brakes saying we aren't as good. Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. However, December 3, 2017, I sat in the Hump and watched last year's Final Four team get a great test from Oklahoma State. We won by 3 (79-76). It was a great, early test against a ranked opponent just like last night. We all know what happened with the season after that game.

Let's give our girls some credit for being tough and pulling out a great win against a quality,ranked opponent.
