Will Sankey green light it? That would be a hell of a combination. They can run a brothel out of the local Waffle House.

And freeze beat bama (lot of luck, but still). You know that's appealing to auburn

Apparently there was some bad blood between Lindsey and Malzahn. I'm wondering if Lindsey resigning the day before Bryant is supposed to announce was on purpose to screw that up for Malzahn.

Freezus to Liberty U looks very possible. Turner Gill is retiring and that was Freezus first public appearances after he "resigned ".

Oh, the plot thickens. That would certainly be a big ol' FU going out the door.

Lindsey has been a "dead man walking" for a while... I think Gus was just trying to get things lined up before he pulled the trigger....

The OC change and reduction in his buyout has bought him another year... But he's gonna need to win 10/11ish with this schedule in 2019:

Oregon
Tulane
Kent State
@ Texas A&M
MSU
@ Florida
@ Arkie
@ LSU
Ole Miss
IDLE
UGA
Samford
Bammer

My guess is either Freeze or Eliah Drinkeitz, OC at NC St.

I heard direct from a big Mississippi Bearshark booster the reason they took Nutt was because he dominated State while at Arkansas. I was told that when they hired him.

Doubtful he wins 10-11 next year. OC could be looking at a 1 year gig. That's not a very appealing position in that case, unless of course the oc is coach in waiting.

When I heard about this I honestly thought it would make no difference with Gus being an offensive guy. I'm curious why you think it could help though

The SEC didn't let Bama hire Freeze. They're not going to let their rival AU. Come on guys.

A major coaching change at the top of your unit a day before you are set to make your decision is never a good thing. The caveat: they have told him who it will be and it is someone he likes...but even then it would be "iffy". Or Aubbie dropped about $180k i guess.

My sources are pretty adamant that KB is headed to MSU. But in recruiting everything can twist on a dime so who knows, I guess.

Just playing devils advocate. Maybe Auburn already has their guy and KB liked who it was? It's just kind of fishy that KB visited this past weekend and then the day before he announces the OC leaves.

I believe that 100% because it just add to the fact of how stupid they are. Anyone with a brain knew that Nutt dominated MSU because that game was sandwiched between Bama and ole miss every year. We never paid attention to them.

They are going to lose to aTm, UF, LSU, UGA, and Bama. Then we may sneak them on the road as well.

IMO, at minimum, he'll hafta win 1 in each of the following groups AND run the table in the rest.... That'd put him at 5-3, 9-3 (with a win over either Bammer or UGA)...

@ A&M, @ Florida, @ LSU

UGA, Bammer

Not beating Georgia or the Warrior River Trade School, they would be real lucky to beat any in the other group. They ain't beating us.

And those Arkansas teams had a stronger hand Recruiting the areas that A&M and Mizzou had prior to those two joining the SEC. Arkansas no longer had the SEC sales pitch and took the biggest hit from Mizzou and A&M. Hogs are sandwiched between the two.
