Their leading scorer averages 9.5 pts a game. Not like they are missing Vivians or something.

Howard was a great rebounder last year at A&M but I'm not seeing her as a big rebounding force for us so far this year.

Howard is averaging 8.5 rebounds and had 8 today. McCowan is averaging 12 and Bibby 7. I?ve watched most of the games and I?ve thought she looked to be rebounding a lot. However when the center and other forward are averaging 19 between them it?s going to cut into numbers. We are also shooting a high percentage and getting a a lot of turnovers. In sum I don?t think as many opportunities are available versus last year when she was all A&M had. In my opinion I am very happy with her rebounding production and her ability to keep the ball alive for others to get.

Overall I think the team is better. However I?m still not sure we have that one player that we know can individually ?make it happen? if needed on the offensive end. Vivians had the ability to post, drive, hit a mid-range jumper and hit a three if isolated one on one. So far I haven?t seen that yet this year from anyone.
