If..huge IF... Georgia actually beat Bama then I think they would both be in the playoffs. Would that move everyone in the SEC up in the pecking order. Would we get to the Citrus at that point. Then Tamu and the Outback Bowl could circle jerk each other till their hearts content...

No. The top 12 teams in CFB playoff poll get in nY6 or playoffs( top 11 plus highest rated g5 school which is UCF and already in playoff poll). It won?t change which teams in sec are in that top 12.

If they both get into the play off that means three p5 conference are left out. There will be a lot of up set people through out the nation.

The funny thing is that the SEC wanted an 8-team playoff and the Big 10 and Pac 12 said no. They're getting what they wanted, not what we wanted.
