Boys winning 13-0 with Dak 15-17, 194 yards. Got the plan to beat the saints. Don't give the ball to Drew. 22 mins to 8 for the saints.

Dak is lighting it up. Don't let up though. That Saints offense can come back quick

Dak is looking great. The play calling has been refreshingly good tonight. They're using the screen game to perfection. Amari Cooper has been a Godsend to this team; just the fact that he demands a double-team from time to time is worth the price they paid, because they didn't have anything close to him on the roster prior.

BeardoMSU

As good as Dak has been, the D is the star of the night so far. They're playing lights out. Vander Esch was a phenomenal pick in the draft, especially considering how Sean Lee's body seems to be made of sugar glass, balsa wood, and whimpers.

Commercecomet24

Love Dak! He's outplaying Bree's by a ton so far. I don't trust Jason Garrett he'll go into a shell and try not to lose and blow it. Let Dak and the offense eat, Garrett!

Good stop by the Cowboys defense. 3 points is a win there

Cooterpoot

Dak is slow with his progressions and fails to get the defensive reads sometimes. If he’d get past that, he’d be great. Holds it too long.

Exactly, after all of the penalties on defense they get a hold on offense and with 3rd and 13 throw a 5 yard pass out in the flat. Defense will give you that throw all day because its a give up play. At least TRY to get the first down.

Dallas defense played incredible to hold Brees and Co. to just 10 pts. Cowboys 2 best defensive players are from Boise State. Vander Etsch is a super star in the making and Lawrence already is. When you play great defense, you just don't need to score many points and that really takes the pressure off Dak and Zeke.

Vander Esch is awesome.

His length & physicality shuts down the running game, but he somehow also has the speed & length to completely disrupt the passing game.

I know he's young & doesn't have a ton a track record but this is what a future Hall of Famer looks like. He's way better than Shawn Lee

With Cowboys defense, the play calling just going to naturally be conservative, especially with lead.

It looks rough at times but it's not a terrible idea.

I thought Dak played awesome tonight outside of his fumbling. He's got to cut down on that, but the Cowboys can win big with Dak & they know that. He's a really good player

To add: Dak will always appear worse in the media than he deserves because everyone watches Cowboy games & thus see all of his mistakes.

He went 24-28 tonight with no INTS & a TD but will likely be criticized for his fumbles & the over throw.

The problem is that every other NFL QB does the same things but, since most people don't actually watch every snap of their games, you only see the high lights & stats.
app
It's because of this that Cowboy QBs are always in an odd position.

If Dak did what he did tonight for Buffalo, Cincy, Cleveland, & most other teams in the NFL, he would be applauded as playing incredible.

Just got back to the hotel from the Dallas game. Awesome experience with my wife and 2 boys. Was a great game to go see Dak throwing the ball. Cowboys D played great the whole the game. They are legit and 55 is a stud. They didn't waste that first round pick. Can't believe they held Brees to around 125-130 yds. 94 on D almost single handily lost them the game too. If it were not for him, the Boys would have really kicked the crap out of them. 94 gave them points and cost the cowboys some. Score really should have been a lot worse. Cooper has done a world of good for this offense even though they are still predictable and conservative. Lastly, hate Dak missed that deep ball, but we had a hell of a time!!!!

Pit Bull
11-30-2018, 03:40 AM
You can almost guess when they are going to run Elliott. On one series, however, they came out passing first, which was a change. They need to do more of that to keep teams off balance. Cooper, IMO, was worth the 1st round pick. He gives Dak much help even if Dak doesn't throw to him......just the threat of a premium receiver takes the heat off the other receivers.
