Arizona State isn't a bad loss. They are good and Bobby Hurley is proving to be a great coach. They are the only undefeated team left in the Pac-12 and they are sitting at #26 in the rankings one spot behind us. It's a loss that won't hurt us at all come tourney selection time. We do need this win tomorrow though. At Dayton will be a top 75 RPI win on the road and will help us a lot for our resume. This is a must win game for a tourney worthy team.

As long as Tyson doesn't start jacking up 3's from halfcourt and Lamar keeps his head in the game we should be able to handle them. We had this team whipped last year without Lamar and then went into the ole Stansbury Stall and they went on something like an 18-2 run

And Stans was the HC when he and the athletic director destroyed the attendance by rearranging all the season ticket holders and moving the students. They have to play a full 40 minutes with full effort. Theee are not many teams out there who can beat us if we give full effort for an entire game. That?s why we are not undefeated and why we have slow starts.

Get off it bro we were never winning more than 10 games with Fitzgerald's limitations at QB. He's a great player, a great bulldog and one of the toughest dude's walking in MS but he ain't taking our team to the playoff no matter if Belichick, Saban, and Lombardi are all his coaches. You want to somehow magically transplant Sam Bradford accuracy into his arm and Peyton Manning's ability to read defenses and then we'd have a playoff caliber offense but that's not reality so how about joining us in reality now. We are so slow and sloppy. For the 2nd year now whatever team we play is quicker to pass, quicker to rotate, and quicker to execute their plays. They know what each other will be doing and have chemistry.

We, by contrast, are slow to move the ball, don't move as much, are slower to rotate on D, and half of our possessions we just stare at each other like "What now?". We look like 5 guys that have only played a couple practices together, not a very experienced team.

Sometimes we out talent the other team, but we never out play them from a teamwork standpoint

I agree and think we make the tourney this year. That was an impressive win on the road. When your on the road and not playing your best basketball and still find a way to pull the game out your doing something right. We just look asleep half of the game and seem to lack effort for stretches here and there.

May just be being nit picky but I would like to see the effort become more consistent throughout the game.
