I would say the biggger story is he is the son of the dude that ran for senate. Arrested on the 23rd but no mention til the 28th? Convenient.

Regardless of which party anyone supports, I think it's beyond any reasonable argument that had this been a "Jr" of the candidate running for the other party, the name and story would have had wall-to-wall ink and airtime from the moment it was discovered until the election. No, I don't think it's relevant to the election at all, but the press would not let a trifling thing like relevance stop them from the opportunity to insinuate some kind of guilt. Let's not even pretend otherwise. It would be more logical to think Bjork has MSU's best interests at heart than to think the C-L and various TV and radio stations would not have latched onto this story if the dad were a candidate labeled with an R.
