I believe ratings are garbage anyway. I have finally come to that realization. Watching UM and all their stars get destroyed by fast, strong, well coached players just goes to show you.

I don't watch video on guys until they commit as have no interest in watching the video of other team's players. That being said, here are some thoughts.

He is extremely interesting & I don't know what to fully make of him.

- It's obvious that he has outstanding straight away speed & is gone in the open field. This IMO is why it's a great commitment & one that should pay dividends in some way in the future on kick return, WR, or at RB.

- He's also got good size. For having 4.3+ speed, he's not a little guy. Could play at 6'0" 195 to 200 or so, which for a 4.35 type guy is big.

- With all that said, I don't see outstanding first step burst. Once he is full blast he's a blazer, but it appears to take him a few steps to get there along with having average footwork.

- All this said, when you look at the Payton commitment & now this one, it's clear that Moorhead is prioritizing speed, speed, speed, which I'm totally cool with. Moorhead has absolutely no interest in 10 play scoring drives. I love this prioritization in recruiting & believe it will give us a higher ceiling down the road. Worst case scenario IMO is that we get a bigger version of Holloway. He almost reminds me of slightly less twitch Norwood

Let Huff work with him on technique. I definitely saw more burst and explosiveness from all our backs this year. Yeah Joe is after speed with our commitments and we still have a shot at Raydarious Jones who would be huge get.

He reminds me of a bigger Fred Reid right now but he’s still so raw it’s hard to project his ceiling. I’ll be extremely interested to see how he shows in the all-star game practices. I think we will get a good idea there of how he stacks up in overall ability.

Norwood was special. You put him on Wisconsin, Ohio State, Florida, LSU etc.. during those years he runs for 2k+ a year. He could cut like Cordarelle Patterson with Darius Slay type speed.
