Amazing fact about MSU with the AP polls this AM

There are 6 teams (Schools) that are in the men?s basketball top 25 AP Poll today that are also in the Football AP Poll.
There are 7 teams (Schools) that are in the women?s basketball AP Poll today that are also in the Fooball AP Poll.

However, there is only one team / School that is in all three, Mississippi State!

As a side note there are only 3 teams (schools) that are in the men?s and women?s AP Poll.


I believe that our Athletics is showing growth and National recognition.

I figured this out a couple of weeks ago. MSU is the only school in the country ranked in the most recent football, men's basketball, baseball, and women's basketball top 25. It seems like this is info to be published and promoted everywhere by the athletic department.

You are right mabtsdawg,,, blasting to all sports magazines, on-line services, and news outlets is what it takes for recognition. Ole Piss does it, but they have the inside track by having a journalism school. They place Alumni in the media field and that’s how about the they do it to keep relevance.
