Houston vs Memphis P6?

I just turned on Memphis vs Houston game, as Mem was kicking an extra point. The goal post has "P6" on it.

WTH? Has CUSA or whatever conference they play in anointed themselves part of the P5 (+1)?

AAC, aka the mid major all stars. They had an entire ad referring to themselves as part of the power 6 conferences. This is the conference that UCF is in, so there's really no shock that the whole conference has a similar mindset.

It's very silly because, while the AAC is the best of the G5 conferences, they're much closer to the rest of them than they are to the P5 conferences.
