I don't know why this hit so hard, but I have a 3 year old son. Her granddaughter was 3 so I can't even imagine what her family is feeling right now. I know sport fans can be fanatical sometimes to a point where it's down right venomous, but stuff like this puts things in perspective. Just a tragic loss all around.
