I don't disagree, but it's interesting to think about where the free market willingly places its resources. It also makes me think about why they get paid that much but the players get nothing. Players getting paid in the NFL works fine, but in college they won't allow it to happen??? Personally, I think the good ol' boy network doesn't want to let go of some of their revenue.

To argue against the professionalization of major college football is like arguing that fish shouldn't live in the water. That one was for you Fishdawg.

Kind of dumb to frame it this way unless they can say exactly what part of their pay is from public funds. Dan Mullen may be a "public employee" but the VAST majority of his 2.65 mil/yr comes from private funds which they conveniently forgot to mention.
