Sucks. Liked his ability in the game to rush the passer and make some stuff happen.

Wow. That's awful with Cole already out and that position covering the slot (Jeudy)

Murphy gets his shot. I?m guessing Smitherman starts there though.

I love watching Murphy on special teams. He is going to be a good one......but this is a tough ask for him today.

Could go Rayford there also

Why did Landrews announce this himself on twitter?

Would seem it would be to our advantage to keep it as quiet as possible

Rayford has looked remarkably better this year. Seemed like every deep pass last year saw Rayford running a yard or two behind the receiver.

I imagine the Bama staffer whose sole responsibility is to watch that position will notice it immediately. He will relay it to their war room in Birmingham. The 35 analysts who are responsible for offensive adjustments relating to that safety spot will make their recommendations to the 50 responsible for altering the game plan on the fly. They will have an entirely new packet of offensive plays from the playbook to the offensive coordinator no later than their second offensive series. Keeping it quiet will help us for one series at the most. I'm only halfway joking.

Landrews was out there bc of injury anyway. Bama was gonna attack that position anyway, nothing's changed

Time for Marcus Murphy to start becoming a legend.

Need Rayford covering the slot with Safety help.

Yeah. Our chance of slowing their pass offense down was slim. Now it’s on life support
