The Greenville football player with the neck injury last week has passed away. Terrible news and we pray for God?s mercy and compassion be with his family, friends, classmates and teammates

It's a sad and tragic loss. I hope and pray for comfort for this family.

I know it's secondary to what happened, but what do they do about the outcome of the game between MC and Greenville, which was halted and not completed? Was there playoff implications that got muddled?

Heard it on the news just now. Really sad for him and his family. They were and are in my prayers. Simply tragic.

MC won their 1st round game tonight, will travel to NW Rankin next week.
