View Full Version : So does 5-0 have a knee?

Discussion in the boardroom this week about the knee. "Official" word is that the brace is uncomfortable and pinches, that's why he pulled up after running 44 yards. Unofficial is something is torn, he will have it repaired during the offseason. They supposedly are shooting the knee up before the game.

Having my knee scoped last year, I can say as long as my knee was numb, I felt like I was ready to run a marathon. So IDK.

Sorry if Germans.

I think he definitely has a knee. He looked in pain even before that run. He doesn’t look as mobile.

Hurt or not, we know Luke will play him until he can't stand on his own.

ETA: Oh, we're talking about the other Hawaiian. Probably still applicable if the game is close.

He's the only 5-0 quarterback that I'm aware of.

In order to differentiate the influx of Hawaiian QBs in conference, I propose Ta'amu still be referred to as "5-0" while Tua be given another nickname:

Pine Apple Chunker (may not be PC)
King TUA (my fav)
Noodle Arm (shout out to ED QB scouts)
The Gimp (who don't like Pulp Fiction)

I'm open to clever suggestions...

His arm is ok. I think it could be an issue in the pro game though. He seems to be going forward on a lot of deep throws. I'd like to see him throw a deep out when a defender is coming on him where he can't step in to it. Accuracy is no issue at all though imo... if that's his game with a lesser arm, he better be drew Brees kinda accurate

Well, you ended the Name Search pretty quick.... well done, my friend.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Dawgbite again.

So who the hell are we talking about? Ole Miss or Alabama? Even with Hurts playing State won't win that game. I'm hoping we are talking about Ole Miss because I'm not sure who they would turn to if he went down.

I do not know, I have been confused since early this morning when Tusk used the word Vacous in a sentence. It's been a downward spiral into confusion and chaos since then.

I hate this thread. I assume th OP is talking about Tua since he referenced 45 yard run, and we play bama this week. But the 5-0 moniker has always been Taamu.

No. It hasn’t. Just another thing they stole. People were calling Tua 5-0 long before Tamiflu started a game.

I guess maybe you heard them first. I heard Bama fans calling Tua Hawaii 5-0 his senior year of high school. If Tami flu was called it before then, then you win. I'm not interested enough to look and see which one graduated first or if tamiflu was at ole miss before then.
