Most of his passes are from pre snap reads. Take that away and his average goes way down

Tua has the best instincts I've ever seen from a college QB, but he's not an NFL franchise QB.

He lacks the arm strength or special physical tools to be other than accuracy.

Mstate7 had a great comp. Danny Wuerffel with more athleticism. I've gone with a more athletic Kellen Moore in the past.

Either way, when the windows shrink in the NFL, he's gonna be really really average

If we can bate that pre snap read... we have the bodies on defense to pick him

He's throwing the ball to freaks.

He just completed a pass when throwing it to another guy

Tua just ran out of arm strength at about 55 yards.

Damn, Fitz will have about 3 to 4 sec to get rid of the ball. Bama DL is all over LSU

Maybe. Fitz's running ability can usually slow it down a little on 1st & 2nd down

Just for fun, can we take a minute to remember how Relf did the same for a TD in '09 (Egg Bowl I think)?

Don't think we had quite the same level of freaks at WR though.

Defense will have to play their best game

Easy there. Tua just pulled up on that knee.

He's fine, just tweaked it running for that 44 yard TD!

Lol. I remember. They knocked each other down as the catch was made.

Some good news for us against Bama, seen a lot of injuries tonight. Even Tua is gimpy

Tua is good. Just because he's facing literally the best secondary in the country and he's been pressured more than most games doesn't mean he's trash. Also we're extremely predictable pre-snap. How do you think A&M and LT were able to dial up tunnel screens on 3rd and long? Because our blitzes are really obvious. I like Shoop a lot but he's not good at hiding the call.

Bama's Achilles heal is their OL. they're run blocking good but look like trash in pass pro. One play LSU brought 4, Bama had 6 blocking. Tua was forced to move within 2s and was sacked by a different defender 1.5s later. That's insane. We played this same front 2 weeks ago and did a much better job. Bama's interior OL especially was getting handled. Gives me hope we can keep from getting blown out

Tua is not trash. Not suggesting he is trash. Just pointing out what was exposed today. He almost always throws to the pre snap read.

If he has 3 to 4 seconds to get rid of the ball it will be the longest he?s had all season.

Bama just skull f*cked the Corndogs and Tua is playing on one leg. Bama is by far the best team in the country so stop the madness. Not sure we can score 10 points or keep them under 30 points.
